Ingredients

  • 2 cups apple, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Cooking spray or oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and vanilla.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed. Fold in the diced apples.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and spray the basket with cooking spray.
  5. Spoon the batter into the basket, leaving space between each fritter.
  6. Cook for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown, flipping halfway through.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

For a crunchier fritter, increase cooking time by a minute or two, checking frequently.
