- 2 cups apple, peeled and diced
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Cooking spray or oil for frying
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed. Fold in the diced apples.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and spray the basket with cooking spray.
- Spoon the batter into the basket, leaving space between each fritter.
- Cook for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown, flipping halfway through.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
For a crunchier fritter, increase cooking time by a minute or two, checking frequently.
