A healthy and spicy alternative to traditional buffalo wings made with cauliflower, using an air fryer for a crispy texture.

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix together flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to create a batter.
  3. Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, allowing excess to drip off.
  4. Place the battered cauliflower in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they are not crowded.
  5. Spray the cauliflower lightly with cooking spray.
  6. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.
  7. Toss the cooked cauliflower with buffalo sauce until evenly coated in a separate bowl.
  8. Return to air fryer for an additional 2-3 minutes to crisp up the buffalo sauce.
  9. Serve hot as an appetizer or snack.

Notes

Cut the cauliflower into even-sized florets and avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket for best results.
