Ingredients
Scale
- 4 large potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Optional: garlic powder, paprika, or any preferred seasonings
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Wash and cut the potatoes into thin fries.
- Soak the cut fries in water for about 30 minutes to remove excess starch, then drain and pat them dry.
- Toss the fries with olive oil, salt, pepper, and any additional seasonings in a bowl.
- Place the fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd.
- Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until crispy and golden.
- Remove and serve hot.
Notes
Cut the fries evenly for uniform cooking. Soaking the fries helps make them crispier. Don’t overcrowd the basket; cook in batches if needed. Experiment with different seasonings to find your favorite flavor.
