A fun twist on two classic favorites, combining grilled cheese and hot dogs for a quick and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 Hot dogs
  • 4 slices Bread (such as sandwich or Texas toast)
  • 4 slices Cheddar cheese
  • Butter (optional, for spreading)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. If desired, spread butter on the outside of the bread slices.
  3. Place a hot dog on one slice of bread and top with cheddar cheese.
  4. Add a second slice of bread on top.
  5. Place the sandwich in the air fryer basket and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and crispy and the cheese is melted.
  6. Carefully remove from the air fryer, slice in half, and serve warm.

Notes

For added flavor, mix different types of cheese. Consider adding jalapeños or hot sauce for a spicy kick.
