A quick and easy twist on the classic peanut butter and jelly sandwich, cooked to perfection in the air fryer for a crispy exterior and gooey interior.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons berry jam (such as strawberry or raspberry)
  • Butter or cooking spray (for greasing)

Instructions

  1. Spread peanut butter on one slice of bread and jam on the other slice.
  2. Press the slices together to form a sandwich.
  3. Seal the edges by pressing down with a fork.
  4. Lightly butter the outside of the sandwich or spray with cooking spray.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Place the sandwich in the air fryer basket.
  7. Cook for 5 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the bread is golden brown and crispy.
  8. Remove from the air fryer, let cool for a minute, and then slice in half to serve.

Notes

Use fresh bread for the best texture. Feel free to experiment with different types of bread or jams.
