- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons fresh ginger, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir-fry in the garlic and ginger for another minute.
- Add the mixed vegetables and continue to stir-fry until tender, about 3-5 minutes.
- Mix soy sauce and brown sugar in a bowl, then pour over the beef and vegetables.
- Cook for another 2 minutes to combine flavors.
- Drizzle with sesame oil, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve warm with rice.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the beef in soy sauce and ginger for about 30 minutes before cooking. You can also customize the vegetables based on your preference.
