- 12 Medjool dates
- 6 slices thick-cut bacon
- 4 oz soft goat cheese
- 2 tbsp honey
- Black pepper (to taste)
- Fresh rosemary or thyme (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Make a small slit in each date to create a pocket, remove the pit, and stuff with goat cheese.
- Cut bacon strips in half and wrap each date with a piece of bacon, securing with a toothpick if needed.
- Place wrapped dates on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes, until bacon is golden and crisp.
- Drizzle honey over the hot dates once out of the oven.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving warm, garnished with black pepper or herbs.
