- 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 1/3 cup barbecue sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
- Mix the barbecue sauce, olive oil, brown sugar, and all the spices (smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, kosher salt, and black pepper) in a bowl.
- Toss the chicken thighs in the marinade until they are well-coated.
- Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook, turning them occasionally to char evenly.
- Brush the chicken with extra barbecue sauce near the end of grilling.
- Grill until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest briefly before serving.
Notes
Use chicken thighs for moisture and flavor. Soak wooden skewers in water to prevent burning.
