- 1 lb cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
- 12 oz penne or rotini pasta
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Olive oil
- 1/2 cup diced red onion
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Sauté sliced sausage, diced onion, and bell pepper in olive oil over medium heat until tender, about 5–7 minutes.
- Add the shredded chicken, garlic powder, salt, and pepper; cook for another 2–3 minutes.
- Stir in chicken broth, barbecue sauce, ranch dressing, and uncooked pasta. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10–12 minutes until the pasta is cooked.
- Mix in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
- Serve warm and garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley if desired.
Notes
Use leftover rotisserie chicken to save time and enhance flavor. Adjust barbecue sauce and ranch dressing based on your taste preference.
