- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 slices American cheese
- 4 brioche buns
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 4 slices crispy bacon
- 1/2 cup pickles
- 1/2 cup caramelized onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine crispy bacon and mayonnaise in a blender to make baconnaise.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Form ground beef into balls and place them on the skillet.
- Smash the balls down with a spatula to create thin patties.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes until a crust forms, then flip and add a slice of cheese on top.
- Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the cheese melts.
- Toast the brioche buns until golden.
- Assemble the burgers by layering baconnaise, patties, pickles, and caramelized onions on the buns.
Notes
Use high-fat ground beef (80/20) for juicier patties. Experiment with different cheeses for variety.
