- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup Biscoff cookie butter
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar for icing (optional)
Instructions
- Mix together flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a bowl.
- Heat milk and butter in a saucepan until warm and melted, then add to the dry ingredients along with the egg.
- Mix until a dough forms, then knead for about 5 minutes.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size (about 60 minutes).
- Roll the dough out on a floured surface and spread Biscoff cookie butter evenly over it.
- Sprinkle cinnamon on top and roll the dough tightly into a log.
- Slice into rolls and place in a baking dish.
- Let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake rolls for 25-30 minutes until golden.
- Optional: Mix powdered sugar with a little milk to create icing and drizzle over cooled rolls.
Notes
Serve warm or at room temperature. Can store in an airtight container for up to two days or refrigerate for up to a week.
