A delightful Southern dish featuring catfish, shrimp, and crabmeat in a creamy Cajun sauce.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Catfish fillets
  • 1 cup Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup Crabmeat
  • 1 cup Mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 Onion, diced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Season catfish fillets with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the catfish fillets and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes on each side.
  4. Remove catfish from the pan and set aside.
  5. Add diced onion, garlic, mushrooms, shrimp, and crabmeat to the skillet. Sauté until shrimp are pink and mushrooms are tender.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and let simmer until thickened.
  7. Serve catfish fillets topped with the Cajun cream sauce.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate catfish fillets in Cajun seasoning for 30 minutes before cooking. Can use different types of fish or a broth-based sauce for a lighter option.
