- 1 lb frozen meatballs
- 12 oz penne or rotini pasta
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup honey BBQ sauce
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté the diced onion until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Stir in frozen meatballs, chicken broth, and honey BBQ sauce; mix well.
- Bring to a simmer and add pasta, ensuring it’s submerged in the liquid.
- Cover and cook for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally until pasta is al dente.
- Remove the lid and sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Cover again and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cheese melts.
- Season with salt and pepper before serving.
Notes
Customize the dish by adding vegetables or using a mix of cheeses for different flavors. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
