Ingredients

  • 8 oz lo mein noodles
  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 cups mixed stir-fry vegetables (broccoli, bell peppers, carrots, snap peas)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pan or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  4. Add the sliced chicken and cook until no longer pink.
  5. Stir in the mixed vegetables and cook until tender-crisp.
  6. Add the cooked lo mein noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil.
  7. Toss everything together and stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with green onions.

Notes

Feel free to substitute the chicken with shrimp, tofu, or beef if you prefer. For an extra kick, sprinkle some crushed red pepper or add sriracha before serving.
