- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, beat together the cream cheese and butter until smooth.
- Add the sugars and mix until combined.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time and then mix in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
Best served warm, these cookies can be enjoyed plain or with milk or ice cream. Store in an airtight container for up to a week or freeze for up to three months.
