  • Total Time: 80 minutes
  • Yield: 10 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan.
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger in a bowl.
  3. Beat together the oil, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined in another large bowl.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the pumpkin, vanilla extract, and milk.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before inverting it onto a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Mix the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth for the glaze. Drizzle over the cooled cake before serving.

Notes

Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for better mixing. Experiment with adding nuts, chocolate chips, or dried fruits for added texture.
