- 1 lb sausage (Andouille or smoked)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions, then drain.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add sausage and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for another minute.
- Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine.
- Stir in Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Add the cooked pasta and Parmesan cheese, mixing until well coated and creamy.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For a spicier dish, increase the Cajun seasoning. Try adding vegetables for extra nutrition.
