Ingredients
Scale
- 12 oz tortellini
- 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook tortellini according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add steak pieces and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked to your liking, about 3-4 minutes. Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Reduce heat to medium, add heavy cream, and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Return steak and tortellini to the skillet, mixing to coat in the sauce. Heat through for 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For more flavor, marinate the steak prior to cooking. Use fresh tortellini for the best taste. Adjust garlic to taste preference.
