Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound Italian sausage, casings removed
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sausage and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in minced garlic and sauté for another minute.
- Pour in heavy cream, bring to a simmer, then reduce heat. Stir in pepper jack and Parmesan until melted.
- Season with salt and pepper, then add the cooked fettuccine to the sauce and toss to coat.
- Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
For extra flavor, add crushed red pepper flakes for more heat. You can customize by adding vegetables or swapping sausage for chicken or shrimp.
