Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, milk, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and salt in a bowl.
- Arrange the slices of bread in a baking dish and pour the egg mixture over the bread, ensuring all slices are coated.
- Cover and let it sit for at least 30 minutes or overnight in the refrigerator.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle granulated sugar on top, and use a kitchen torch to caramelize the sugar until golden and crispy.
- Serve warm with syrup or fresh fruit.
