- 250 g Halloumi cheese (cut into 1-inch cubes)
- 1 tbsp Olive oil (extra virgin recommended)
- 1 tsp Smoked paprika (optional for added flavor)
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Dried oregano
- 1 pinch Salt (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Cut the halloumi cheese into 1-inch cubes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, dried oregano, and a pinch of salt.
- Toss the halloumi cubes in the spice mixture until they are evenly coated.
- Place the coated halloumi in the air fryer basket in a single layer without overcrowding.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the halloumi is golden brown and crispy.
- Carefully remove the halloumi bites and serve hot.
Notes
Best served hot with a tangy tzatziki or spicy sriracha sauce. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
