Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup crab meat (canned or cooked)
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Rice paper wrappers
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Combine the softened cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
- Fill a shallow dish with warm water. Dip each rice paper wrapper into the water for a few seconds until it becomes soft and pliable.
- Place a spoonful of the crab mixture in the center of the wrapper. Fold the sides over and roll it up tightly like a burrito.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the rolled rangoons in the pan. Fry until they are golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove the rangoons and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
Notes
Serve hot with dipping sauces like sweet and sour, soy sauce, or spicy mayo. Great for gatherings!
