A delightful twist on classic crab rangoon with a crunchy texture, perfect for appetizers or snacks.

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup crab meat (canned or cooked)
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Rice paper wrappers
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Combine the softened cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  2. Fill a shallow dish with warm water. Dip each rice paper wrapper into the water for a few seconds until it becomes soft and pliable.
  3. Place a spoonful of the crab mixture in the center of the wrapper. Fold the sides over and roll it up tightly like a burrito.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the rolled rangoons in the pan. Fry until they are golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Remove the rangoons and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.

Notes

Serve hot with dipping sauces like sweet and sour, soy sauce, or spicy mayo. Great for gatherings!
