  • Total Time: 255 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • Pepperoncini peppers

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the Crock Pot.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix evenly over the chicken.
  3. Place the butter on top of the chicken.
  4. Add a few pepperoncini peppers for flavor.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 360-480 minutes or on high for 180-240 minutes.
  6. Once cooked, shred the chicken with forks and mix with the sauce.
  7. Serve on sandwich buns or over cooked rice.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding more pepperoncini peppers or some sliced olives. If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with water and stir it in during the last half hour of cooking. Substitute chicken thighs for a different texture.
