- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup dulce de leche
- 1/2 cup sugar (for coating)
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon (for coating)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
- Combine the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract in another bowl. Mix until well combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Fill each muffin cup halfway, then add about a tablespoon of dulce de leche in the center of each. Top with more muffin batter until almost full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl while muffins cool.
- Brush the warm muffins with melted butter and roll them in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Serve warm.

Ensure ingredients are at room temperature for best results. Customize the amount of dulce de leche to fit your sweetness preference.
