- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 head of cabbage, chopped
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add diced onion. Sauté until translucent.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned; drain excess fat.
- Stir in chopped cabbage, cooked rice, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until bubbly.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Pairs well with a side salad or crusty bread. For extra flavor, sprinkle shredded cheese on top before serving.
