  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1 cup French onion soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Swiss or Gruyere)

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Mix the ground beef, chopped onions, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, egg, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into meatballs and place them in the crock pot.
  3. Pour the French onion soup over the meatballs.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 360 minutes or on high for 240 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the meatballs 30 minutes before serving and cover again to allow the cheese to melt.
