- 9 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 3 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 jar marinara sauce
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Italian seasoning to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, chopped spinach, egg, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Place 3 lasagna noodles on top of the sauce.
- Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles and sprinkle with mozzarella.
- Repeat the layers: marinara sauce, noodles, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella.
- Finish with a final layer of noodles, marinara sauce, and top with parmesan cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
