  • Total Time: 75 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 tablespoon five-spice powder
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for baking

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine five-spice powder, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Add chicken wings to the marinade and toss to coat. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place a wire rack on top.
  5. Arrange the marinated wings on the wire rack.
  6. Spray the wings lightly with vegetable oil.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until wings are crispy and cooked through.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For extra crispiness, flip the wings halfway through baking. Marinating overnight enhances flavor.
