Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 4 hoagie rolls
- Salt and pepper to taste

- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced steak and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add mushrooms, bell pepper, and onion. Sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
- Return the steak to the skillet and mix with the vegetables.
- Place the mixture onto hoagie rolls and top each with provolone cheese.
- Place the sandwiches under a broiler for 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve hot.
Notes
For best flavor, use ribeye steak and don’t overcrowd the skillet. Consider adding jalapeños or hot sauce for extra kick.
