Ingredients
Scale
- 1 large (16 oz) loaf Italian or French bread, sliced
- 0.5 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 0.5 teaspoon kosher salt
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
- 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix the softened butter with the minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and Parmesan cheese until well combined.
- Slice the loaf into 1-inch thick pieces and arrange on the lined baking sheet.
- Spread 1 to 2 tablespoons of the garlic butter mixture over each slice of bread.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden and crisp around the edges. Broil for 1 to 2 minutes for extra crispiness.
- Let the garlic bread cool for 3 to 4 minutes before serving warm.
Notes
Make sure your butter is softened for easy spreading. You can also try adding red pepper flakes for extra flavor.
