- 8 oz pasta (spaghetti, linguine, or your choice)
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add shrimp to the skillet, season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes or until pink and opaque.
- Toss the cooked pasta in the skillet with the shrimp and garlic butter.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
Make sure to not overcook the shrimp to keep them juicy. Feel free to add vegetables for extra flavor.
