- 12 large mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Clean the mushrooms and gently remove the stems.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, then add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Combine sautéed garlic, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and breadcrumbs if using in a mixing bowl.
- Stuff each mushroom cap with the cheese mixture.
- Arrange the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until golden and the mushrooms are tender.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the oven at low temperature for best results.
