Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 3 tablespoons bourbon
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Chopped chives for garnish
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, simmer the honey, bourbon, soy sauce, smoked paprika, black pepper, minced garlic, and lemon juice on low heat to create a flavorful glaze.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and brush them lightly with olive oil to prevent sticking.
- Preheat the grill to medium heat and lightly oil the grill grates.
- Place the salmon fillets on the grill, skin side down. Grill for about 4-6 minutes.
- Brush the salmon with the honey bourbon glaze and grill for another 2-3 minutes, allowing it to caramelize.
- Flip the salmon gently and grill for an additional minute or until just cooked through.
- Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Add a small pat of butter on top of each fillet and sprinkle with chopped chives before serving.
