- 4 Chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup Honey
- 1/4 cup Lime juice
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper
- 1 Avocado
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- Fresh Cilantro (optional)
Instructions
- Whisk together honey, lime juice, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
- Place chicken breasts in the marinade and let sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
- Remove from heat and let rest.
- Slice the chicken and serve with sliced avocado.
Notes
For extra flavor, let the chicken marinate overnight. Slice the chicken against the grain for the best texture. Optionally, add red pepper flakes to the marinade for some spice.
