  • Total Time: 60 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup hot fudge sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Melt the butter and mix in the sugar until well combined.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, and then stir in the vanilla.
  4. Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt in another bowl. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan, then drizzle half of the hot fudge sauce over it. Cover with the remaining batter and top with the rest of the fudge sauce.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

Best served warm, slice and enjoy! Pair it with vanilla ice cream for extra decadence.
