Juicy and flavorful chicken wings marinated in a rich buttery spice blend, perfect for any occasion.

  • Total Time: 90 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 lb chicken wings (fresh)
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat dry with paper towels to ensure crispiness.
  2. Combine the melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper in a mixing bowl and whisk until well combined.
  3. Pour the marinade over the chicken wings, ensuring they are well coated. Cover with plastic wrap and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 60 minutes, preferably overnight.
  4. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) for even cooking.
  5. Cover a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper and place a wire rack on top.
  6. Arrange the marinated wings in a single layer on the rack, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  8. Baste the wings with any leftover marinade during the last 5-10 minutes of baking for extra flavor.
  9. Switch to broil for the last 3-5 minutes for added crispiness, watching closely to avoid burning.
  10. Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before garnishing with freshly chopped parsley and serving.

Notes

For even crispier wings, consider air-frying them after marinating. Adjust spice levels to your preference.
