- 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
- 2/3 cup Granulated Sugar
- 2 large Eggs
- 1.5 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1.5 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1.75 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 2 medium Apples, diced
- 1/3 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
- 1–2 tbsp Milk for Glaze
- 1/4 tsp Vanilla Extract for Glaze
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then mix in the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and ground cinnamon in another bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk. Stir until just combined.
- Fold in the diced apples and brown sugar gently.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center.
- Prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth while the bread bakes.
- Once the bread is cool, drizzle the glaze over the top.
Notes
Store bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days or refrigerate for a week. It can be frozen for up to three months.
