- 1 lb Italian sausage, casings removed
- ½ lb ground beef
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp oregano
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine the Italian sausage, ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, egg, parsley, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl. Mix gently until everything is combined.
- Shape the mixture into 1½-inch meatballs and arrange them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops of the meatballs with olive oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, turning the meatballs once halfway through cooking.
- Let the meatballs rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy them with marinara sauce and more Parmesan cheese if you like!
Notes
For variety, try adding chopped spinach or bell peppers, or use turkey sausage for a lighter option.
