- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 cup cooked macaroni
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, milk, eggs, salt, and pepper.
- Mix everything until well combined and form half of the mixture into a loaf shape on a baking sheet.
- In a separate bowl, mix cooked macaroni and cheddar cheese, then place this mixture in the center of the meatloaf.
- Cover the macaroni with the remaining meat mixture and shape it into a loaf.
- In a small bowl, mix BBQ sauce and maple syrup, then brush this mixture over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for 60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Use a mix of ground beef and pork for extra flavor. Feel free to experiment with different cheeses.
