Instructions

- Cook the maple sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess grease.
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder in a large bowl.
- Layer the cubed bread, cooked sausage, and shredded cheese in a greased baking dish.
- Pour the egg mixture over the top, ensuring everything is evenly soaked.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is set and golden on top.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Drizzle with maple syrup if desired.
