- 1 can (4 oz) diced green chiles
- 0.5 cup heavy cream
- 0.25 cup whole milk
- 2 tbsp diced jalapeño (optional)
- 0.25 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 tsp cumin
- Salt (to taste)
- White pepper (to taste)
- Tortilla chips for serving
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the shredded Oaxaca or mozzarella cheese, white American cheese, diced green chiles, heavy cream, and whole milk.
- Heat the mixture over medium-low heat, stirring frequently until the cheese is melted and smooth.
- Add in diced jalapeños, cumin, salt, and white pepper. Stir until well combined and heated through.
- Remove from heat and stir in fresh cilantro.
- Serve warm with tortilla chips.
Notes
Use fresh cheese for better taste and texture. Adjust jalapeños for desired spiciness.
