Ingredients

  • 1 can (4 oz) diced green chiles
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 0.25 cup whole milk
  • 2 tbsp diced jalapeño (optional)
  • 0.25 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Salt (to taste)
  • White pepper (to taste)
  • Tortilla chips for serving

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the shredded Oaxaca or mozzarella cheese, white American cheese, diced green chiles, heavy cream, and whole milk.
  2. Heat the mixture over medium-low heat, stirring frequently until the cheese is melted and smooth.
  3. Add in diced jalapeños, cumin, salt, and white pepper. Stir until well combined and heated through.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in fresh cilantro.
  5. Serve warm with tortilla chips.

Notes

Use fresh cheese for better taste and texture. Adjust jalapeños for desired spiciness.
