Juicy and aromatic skewers of spiced ground meat, perfect for grilling and serving at any meal or gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or lamb
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)

Instructions

  1. Combine ground meat, onion, parsley, garlic, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix well.
  2. Form the mixture into long sausage shapes around the skewers.
  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Grill the kebabs for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through and nicely charred.
  5. Serve hot with pita bread, tahini, or your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the meat mixture sit for about 30 minutes before shaping the kebabs.
