- 1 lb ground beef or lamb
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Skewers (wooden or metal)
Instructions
- Combine ground meat, onion, parsley, garlic, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into long sausage shapes around the skewers.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Grill the kebabs for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through and nicely charred.
- Serve hot with pita bread, tahini, or your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
For extra flavor, let the meat mixture sit for about 30 minutes before shaping the kebabs.
