Ingredients

  • 1 large round loaf of Italian bread
  • 1/2 cup olive salad (a mix of olives, pickled vegetables, and spices)
  • 8 slices of salami
  • 8 slices of ham
  • 8 slices of mortadella
  • 8 slices of provolone cheese
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Slice the Italian bread in half horizontally.
  2. Mix the olive salad with the olive oil, oregano, and garlic powder in a bowl.
  3. Spread the olive salad mixture on the bottom half of the bread.
  4. Layer the salami, ham, mortadella, and provolone cheese over the olive salad.
  5. Place the top half of the bread on the sandwich and press down gently.
  6. Wrap the sandwich tightly in plastic wrap and let it sit for at least a couple of hours or overnight in the fridge.
  7. Slice into wedges and serve.
