Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 12 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the steak with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Sear the steak for about 3-4 minutes until browned, then remove from the skillet.
- Add the beef broth to the skillet and bring to a boil. Stir in the pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
- Reduce the heat to low. Stir in the heavy cream, cheddar cheese, and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Return the seared steak to the skillet and mix well with the sauce. Stir in the butter until melted.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
Make sure to cut the steak into evenly sized cubes for even cooking. Adjust Cajun seasoning to suit your spice preference.
