- 2 cups red velvet cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Oreos, crushed
- Chocolate ganache (for drip topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
- Combine red velvet cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs in a mixing bowl. Mix until smooth.
- Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cakes cool completely.
- Beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract in another bowl until creamy. Fold in the whipped heavy cream until well combined.
- Place one cake layer on a serving plate. Spread a layer of the cheesecake mixture on top, followed by a layer of crushed Oreos.
- Top with the second layer and frost the entire cake with the remaining cheesecake mixture.
- Drizzle the chocolate ganache on top for the drip effect.
- Decorate with more crushed Oreos if desired.
- Slice and serve for celebrations!
