- 4 tilapia fillets, about 5 ounces each
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix together the Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, kosher salt, black pepper, parsley, and melted butter until the mixture is crumbly.
- Pat the tilapia fillets dry with a paper towel. Place them on the prepared baking sheet. Brush them lightly with olive oil and season with a little salt and pepper.
- Press the Parmesan mixture over each tilapia fillet.
- Bake the tilapia in the preheated oven for about 10 to 12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the fish reaches an internal temperature of 140 degrees.
- Drizzle lemon juice over the fillets and let them rest for 2 minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve with a side of steamed vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
