A delightful dessert that combines the tangy flavor of passion fruit with a creamy texture, perfect for warm days or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup passion fruit pulp (fresh or canned)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon gelatin (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons water (optional)

Instructions

  1. If using gelatin, dissolve it in water and let it sit.
  2. In a bowl, mix passion fruit pulp, lemon juice, and sugar until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth, then add the passion fruit mixture and vanilla extract.
  4. Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then gently fold it into the passion fruit mixture.
  5. If using gelatin, gently heat it until dissolved and fold it into the mixture.
  6. Spoon the mousse into serving glasses and chill in the refrigerator for at least 120 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve in individual glasses and top with fresh fruit or a drizzle of chocolate for decoration. Store covered in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
