- 2 packages (14 oz each) of Lil’ Smokies sausages
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Combine brown sugar, pineapple juice, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and cayenne pepper in a bowl.
- Whisk until the sugar is dissolved.
- Add the Lil’ Smokies sausages to a slow cooker and pour the pineapple glaze over them.
- Stir gently to coat the sausages.
- Add pineapple chunks and mix with the sausages.
- Cover and cook on low for 240 minutes or high for 120 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve warm with toothpicks.
Notes
For extra flavor, sear the sausages before adding them to the slow cooker. Adjust cayenne pepper for spiciness.
