- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- Mix pumpkin puree, brown sugar, granulated sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract in a large bowl until smooth.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in another bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
Serve warm or at room temperature, and feel free to sprinkle powdered sugar on top or serve with vanilla ice cream.
