Instructions

  3. Cream the softened butter and sugar together in a large mixing bowl until fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well mixed.
  5. Gradually stir in the dry ingredients, combining thoroughly.
  6. Fold in the Rice Krispies and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto baking sheets, leaving about 2 inches between each ball.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
