- 2 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
- Cream the softened butter and sugar together in a large mixing bowl until fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well mixed.
- Gradually stir in the dry ingredients, combining thoroughly.
- Fold in the Rice Krispies and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto baking sheets, leaving about 2 inches between each ball.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Best served warm, these cookies are excellent with milk or ice cream. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
